Ways to Give
Four ways you can give to support ministry at South Hills Church:
- Through bill pay. Set up a “Bill Pay” account at your bank.
- In the worship service. We provide envelopes (in seat backs facing you) for your convenience and you can give when the offering is taken.
- Use your debit card at the Kiosk. We’d love for everyone to take advantage of this opportunity. Two receipts are printed so you will have one for the offering bag if you’d like.
- Coming soon… On-line giving through the SHC website.
- Set up your “Bill Pay” account at your bank. Usually the process is pretty straight forward, but if you need help a bank representative will walk you through this.
- Identify South Hills Church as a “Payee” or “Vendor.” The church’s mailing address is 3700 W. 27th Avenue, Kennewick, WA 99337 (509) 586-6101.
- It is not necessary for you to provide an account number.
- Determine if you want your contribution as a reoccurring date and/ or amount, or whether you want to reenter the date/amount each time.
- On the memo line put how much you want to contribute to each category (General, Building , and/or Benevolent Fund).
- If you need someone to walk through this with you call the office and we will arrange for someone to help you.
GIVING THROUGH OFFERING ENVELOPES
- Fill in your name, phone number and date on the envelope.
- If you know it, write your offering envelope number on your check and envelope.
- Indicate whether cash, kiosk, or check —if check, please write your check number in the space provided.
- Indicate how much you want to contribute to each category (General Fund, Building Fund, Benevolent Fund, and/or Other—please specify which approved project it is for).
- Enter total gift amount, place cash, kiosk receipt , or check in the envelope and place the envelope in the offering bag.
- Please be sure to write clearly. If the donor name cannot be read, the donation will not show up on your giving statement.
- Touch the “Make Donation” or “Anonymous Donation” button.
- Enter your phone number and touch “continue.” If you have registered, your name will appear on the next screen and you can proceed with a donation. If you are not in the data base, the program will take you to a registration screen and then you will continue to donate. The registration is a one-time occurrence.
- On the donation screen, you may enter the amount you want to donate. Here you are able to donate to all categories with one swipe. It will give you a running total of the donation. Press “Continue.”
- The next screen will allow you to verify what you have donated. If the amount is correct, touch “Yes” and continue. If it is not correct touch “No” and it will take you back to the “make donation” screen so you can make corrections.
- The next step is to touch “Debit Card.”
- Next, the directions will say to swipe your card. The screen will tell you that your swipe was successful or not. Since you are using a debit card, it will then ask you to enter your pin. Enter this number on the PinPad connected to the kiosk. After it is processed, receipts will be printed for your records.
- After the “Thank You” screen, you will have the opportunity to update your personal information. You will need your password to update your personal information. If you forget your password, please contact Spring at the church office (586-6101).
- This completes your donation transaction.
- Don’t forget to take your receipts!
