Donor Advised Funds
The leadership of South Hills Church will, from time to time, set up special opportunities for you to give to specific programs or projects. They will have a defined purpose and/or a defined period of time. Special giving opportunities may also be announced in the bulletin. Though we will always attempt in good faith to honor your preferences, your contributions become the property of South Hills Church. It will be at leadership discretion to determine how best to use all contributions to carry out church functions and purposes.
When would your preference not be honored? If the purpose/time is changed or cancelled, or the donations exceed the need, the funds will be redirected at the discretion of leadership. Any donation made for programs or projects not on the special giving opportunities list will need to be returned to the donor so that South Hills Church will be in compliance with IRS regulations.
Current Special Giving Opportunities:
South Hills Church 2013 Mission Trips – God’s Compassion through us changes the world.
To support this effort, donations may be made to the “Short -Term Mission Trips.”
All financial donations will be shared among the following two trips:
- The Belize Mission Trip will be led by Pastor Jim June 29-July 8, 2013.
- The Kenya Mission Trip will be led by Tyrone & Cindy Riggle October 21-November 7, 2013.
